Best Baby Shower Gift For A Teacher – Thoughtful and Sweet

Picking the best teacher baby shower gift can be difficult! Especially for elementary school teachers. Most of us are cutesy, have millions of kids’ books already, and are sometimes…well…particular on how we like things. No? Maybe that is just me?

My Teacher Baby Shower Best Gift

When I had my daughter, my co-workers threw me the best baby shower. They were so incredibly sweet with all of the thoughtful things they did. For me, just doing something thoughtful is so much better than any gift or money. It’s the thought that counts, right?

One of the best gifts I received was the canvas they made for baby girl. In her nursery, the theme was hot air balloons with light pink and coral. The art teacher at my school created a hot air balloon, wrote an adorable quote, and put Madison’s name at the bottom. She even used our nursery colors!

My favorite part was the actual balloon. My co-teacher had my two classes create the beginning of the air balloon using their fingerprints. She had them choose between colors, and they slowly created the balloon. During my baby shower, the teachers in the school finished it up with their own finger prints. It turned out so wonderful. This, over anything else I received, was by far the coolest.

I Loved This Thoughtful Gift

I still have the canvas in her nursery and it is one of my favorite decorations. Not only is it adorable, but it also has a sentimental meaning. It reminds me of so many different things. My difficult pregnancy, the eagerness of having a baby girl, and the end of pregnancy.

I love this idea because there are so many different things you could create besides a hot air balloon. You could easily find something in their nursery theme to replace with finger prints. All you have to do is use your imagination.
